First place in the contest for the best rural tourism Dubrovnik-Neretva County for 2016 "Golden Orange" won the OPG Diana Marovic - Eco škoj, from the island of Korcula. At a reception for the participants, on 21 June, the Head of of Dubrovnik-Neretva County

Nikola Dobroslavić handed out diplomas for the first three places, and gave thanks to the participation of all the finalists. Second place went to the family farm Josip Antunovic from Kuna on the peninsula, the third OPG Mato Katićić from Smokovljani in Dubrovnik area. The finalists in this competition were also the OPG Laptalo, Picnic Rocks, Rural Hours, OPG and OPG Dubelj Mato Vlahušić.
County Mayor Nikola Dobroslavić stressed that the potential of our rural areas is very large and further efforts needs to be done for development. He congratulated the winners, but also all to the finalists who have demonstrated a high level of quality in the work they are doing. This is the first year that the District and DUNEA organized the award, with the intention to "Golden Orange" becomes tradition.
