Days of eels in the Neretva 20. - 22.11. 2015.
Neretva eel is the best at this particular time of year, in the fall. That is why Days of eels in the Neretva will be held in November on 20th to 22nd, during three days, visitors will be able to enjoy this superb delicacy at promotional prices.
The whole weekend Neretva restaurants that have joined in this event will offer special menus at a promotional price of 100 kuna, and for demanding guests and some more expensive versions in several courses. There will be the inevitable stew of eel, eel on the grill, with homemade bread and wine from vineyards of Neretva and Komarna. The main event will be fair Neretva delicacies, which will be held on Saturday, November 21st, starting at 10 pm, on the square in Opuzen.Manufacturers of traditional products will be presented by sweets, jams, ecologically grown fruits, other traditional products of Neretva area. From 11 o'clock on the schedule will be the culinary show, there will be a great connoisseur of traditional cuisine Veljko Barbieri, who will tell the story of the eel as a world-class culinary delicacy. The fair will also present all restaurants, as well as winemakers of Neretva Komarna, with the performance of a capella choirs Aria and Opuzen.
