Dubrovnik FestiWine 2015. is held

The second edition of the wine festival, organized by the Dubrovnik-Neretva County and the Regional Development Agency DUNEA, is held on 24th and 25th April in Dubrovnik. It was a great opportunity to try the best wines of the region in one place.

Central Exhibition, which was held in Lazareti, was preceded by numerous' wine events' 'in the Wine Week. So Dubrovnik 'wine friendly' caterers offer regional wines with great variety of authentic dishes at special prices.On a blind date white wine (Malvasia Tezoro Crvik 2013) is chosen as one that best 'pair well'' with Ston oysters. FestiWine Gala Gourmet spectacle, dinner with seven courses and with seven excellent county wine, directed by Tomaz Kavcic, Peter Obad, Sinisa Lasana and Rene Bakalović was also held. Revenue from this dinner will be invested in the education of young hopes of cooking.

On the final evening the winners of Dubrovnik FestiWine Trophy were announced, and wine Plavac mali Pomet 2012 of wineries Crvik was awarded as the best.

For all residents and their guests it was a real wine week with some of the best Croatian wines, a new awaits us once again on the last weekend of April 2016.
