SU Road Neretva will be 60 participants

fter the site visit, in accordance with the Regulations, there are about 60 potential participants of the Road Neretva. In the coming period they will be invited to a joint meeting, there will also project for marking roads and making info plates and road signs and labels for the objects.

The logo for the Road Neretva is going to be made, which will be a derivative of an existing sign Rural Dubrovnik Neretva and also a name for this area will be created. All activities related to the establishment of new tourist roads in the county will be finished by the end of the year, and the establishment of a road in the Neretva is financed from the EU project, which is the holder of the County Development Agency DUNEA.

Prefect Nikola Dobroslavić, director of the County Development Agency DUNEA Melanie Milic and Head of Tourism, Maritime, Enterprise and Energy Minister Ivo Klaic participated on July 25 at a working meeting on the establishment of thematic tourist road to the Neretva Valley. The meeting was also attended by the Mayor of Opuzen Ivo Mihaljevic, Mayor of Ploče Kresimir Veic, Mayor of Pojezerje Boro Dominikovic, president of the Croatian Chamber of Dubrovnik - Neretva County Teresina Orlic, a representative of the tourist board Dubrovnik - Neretva County, the local action group Neretva and representatives of local governments and tourist boards from the area of ​​the Neretva valley.

Dubrovnik - Neretva County has already been brought Rules on the establishment of themed tourist roads in the county, and has so far established thematic tourist road Pelješac - The Wine Empire. By the same principle thematic tourist road in the Neretva will be established.
